The Hegewald Story in Vancouver WA

in 1936 German Immigrant Gerhardt Hegewald opened Hegewald, Inc. a company that started as a filling station, expanded into an engine rebuilding machine shop. Gerhardt & Katherine Hegewald had 4 sons and 2 daughters. 4 of those children worked at Hegewald, Inc. In 1987 Bob Hegewald took a chance and sold his shares to open his own Hydraulic repair shop next door to Hegewald, Inc. Bob just retired and 3rd Generation Adam Hegewald has been with the company 26 years with 3 children of his own, hoping a 4th generation will ensue. https://www.google.com/search?q=Hydraulics,+Inc.&ludocid=3339993076697842953&lpsid=4610824205440928655&source=sh/x/localposts&lsig=AB86z5UbDEAdo2hP0Fglure6ZJwT#lpstate=pid:4610824205440928655 Read More
